It’s Technically Summer, But There’s No Break for Techies

It’s midsummer and even though school isn’t in session, educators are working hard to help improve teaching and learning for students through professional development. ENA is excited to participate with our technology friends in both pursuits in two upcoming conferences, TETA (Tennessee Educational Technology Association) Summer Institute in Clinton, Tennessee, and GAMEIS (Georgia Association of Managers of Educational Information Systems) in Savannah, Georgia.

Both of these conferences will occur the week of July 11–15. ENA is looking forward to these events where we will be presenting sessions and helping educate leaders on new trends in educational technology. Perhaps the most exciting part: giving away fun prizes and showing demos of ENA Video Connect to our customers.

Highlights of Summer Institute include an interactive session about “What’s on ENA’s Horizon” with Michael McKerley. As always, ENA’s Consortium Product Partners will be in our booth providing sessions about product updates. You won’t want to miss rounding the bases in our baseball-themed booth! Stop by and collect some cool gear!

GAMEIS will be full of new, fun activities such as the chance for attendees to try their odds at Plinko and win prizes! The highlight will be ENA’s Keynote session titled “The Changing Role of the IT Leader in a Digital District” featuring ENA’s own CTO, Bob Collie, and Katie Lovett, former CIO in Fulton County, Georgia.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the conferences and learning lots of new things to augment our children’s education!
