Dan Crowley, Customer Solution Engineer
1. Pretend I’m your grandma. How would you describe your job? What’s your department?
I am a part of the Technology and Innovation team at ENA. As a Customer Solution Engineer, my role is to listen to our customers’ needs and determine if one of our technology products or services will fulfill those needs. Once we’ve agreed on a great fit, I work with the sales team to come up with a final design that will overcome any of the customer’s staff, budget or time constraints. After the customer approves the final design, I also work closely with the project management and implementation teams to assist and ensure that the customer’s design is installed as planned.
2. What the most prominent thing in your cubicle/office?
Lights – lots of lights…
3. Tiny Dancer vs. Stairway to Heaven: you decide.

4. What’s your favorite thing about working at ENA?
My favorite thing about working at ENA is that we are not a profit-driven enterprise. To be certain, we want to earn a profit to stay in business, but it doesn’t drive what we each do. Our number-one goal is to serve the customer and take care of their needs first. Profitability then follows because our customers trust that we truly have their best-interest at heart and not their money.
5. Where are you from? Tell us one interesting thing about your hometown.
I was born in Buffalo, New York. As an elementary student, I always prayed for more snow so that they would close the schools and we could go out and play. The only trouble was that in Buffalo, they are so prepared for snow that schools didn’t close until there is more than 7” or 8” of snowfall in one night!
6. Ebooks vs. Codex: pick one.

7. If you could describe your coworkers in one word, which would you choose?
