Every year, Nashville Metropolitan Public Schools (MNPS) gives 9th graders the opportunity to explore careers through a Career Exploration Fair.

This year, they offered their first-ever Virtual Career Exploration Fair, so they turned to local professionals and companies asking for videos where participants explained their careers and offered advice. When ENA’s Dana Moore heard the news, she immediately jumped into action.

“Because of COVID-19, we have not had been able to host students and foster their interest in technology by showing them real, achievable jobs in the community, so I was thrilled to see that MNPS was creating a Virtual Career Exploration Fair,” explained Dana. “It is always so fun when we have students in our building learning about ENA and our role in public education—we cannot wait to get back to seeing them in person when it is safe!”

Here’s a highlight of the career videos submitted by ENA featuring Christina Irick, MIS & IT Security Manager; Jessica Lawrence, Sr. Customer Support Engineer; and Lauren Basile, Senior Marketing Communications Professional.
