As you probably know by now, ENA has been celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. As we look back at the past twenty years, we’d be remiss to not highlight one ENA employee who has significantly contributed to the customer-centric culture that is ingrained in our company’s DNA—our CFO Rex Miller. Joining the ENA team in 1998, Rex has dedicated the last 18 years to ensuring our customers remain the number one priority at ENA.
Rex was recently selected as a 2016 CFO Award Finalist by the Nashville Business Journal. All of us at ENA are proud of this recent achievement, but we’ve known Rex is the best for years! Since ENA started back in 1996, we’ve grown tremendously, and a significant portion of that growth can be directly attributed to Rex’s leadership and strategic thinking.
Although most finance departments aren’t customer-facing, Rex has created an environment where finance team members are encouraged to work closely with customers to ensure their needs are being met. He and his team possess a broad understanding of the E-rate program, and Rex has instilled within his team a commitment to use that knowledge and experience to help customers maintain compliance with E-rate rules and obtain the E-rate funding they deserve. ENA has been involved in the E-rate program since its inception and has nearly two decades of successful experience working with a diverse group of schools and libraries, including rural and urban, large and small, system-wide and statewide, and supporting every type of demographic.
Rex exemplifies the key aspects of our company culture—customer focus, integrity, passion for excellence, promoting the team, and adding value. We are proud that his dedication and hard work has been recognized by the Nashville Business Journal, and we are happy to have him on our team!
Congratulations, Rex! Thank you for everything you do.
